A couple of weeks ago we examined the prophetic evidence for the crucifixion as we looked at twenty-eight Old Testament prophecies surrounding the death of Jesus. Today we want to look at Prophecy as it relates to the Resurrection
Many have said… “the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most certain fact of genuine history.”
Regarding the certainty of the resurrection, Luke wrote in the book of Acts…
Acts 1:3 (AMP)
3 To these [men] He also showed Himself alive after His suffering [in Gethsemane and on the cross], by [a series of] many infallible proofs and unquestionable demonstrations, appearing to them over a period of forty days and talking to them about the things concerning the kingdom of God.
Later on, Paul wrote about Jesus’ Resurrection…
1 Corinthians 15:5-8 (NIV)
