In Sanctified Youth, we believe ever student is valuable to the Kingdom of God and we want to help them develop a deeper relationship with God and a connection to the cross. We want them to learn to worship God, His nature, His plans for them and their future. Sanctified Youth is a safe place that guides students through the most challenging parts of their development and seeks to develop them into future leaders.
- a safe, loving, and wholesome atmosphere for young people
- study which helps young people become formed in their faith
- worship experiences that help young people connect with God and one another
- a means for young people to develop their individual prayer and spiritual life
- assistance for young people in developing values, ethical norms, and a sense of Christian community
- interaction with adults who authentically model the Christian faith
- activities (games, sports, activities, crafts, etc.) which involve fun and the building of sense of worth
Wednesday Nights 6:00 PM
Sanctified Youth Service- is for students in 7th—12th Grades. We meet on Wednesday nights at 6pm in the Youth Modular. We engage our students through fun interactive curriculum, games, and activities.
Sunday Mornings 10:15 AM
REC Crew Youth- is a program on Sunday mornings where youth can volunteer to use their gifts to help Children in our Kids Life Ministries. This ministry exists to develop spiritual maturity and ministry gifts of students while allowing them to serve with younger children. This works through mentoring and training with the goal of future ministry.
Special Events Throughout the Year
Youth Convention is a two day event for all the Assemblies of God churches in Arizona. It’s a time where students can connect with other youth, engage in worship, and listen to amazing speakers. This event is held at the end of October.
Summer Camp- Each summer, camps are made available to youth. Camps vary in dates and costs but its an experience that they will never forget. Many youth will have life changing encounters with the Lord at camp. The dates and costs are posted each year as the camping season approaches.
Speed the Light- Speed the Light is the student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world. It began in 1944 after Ralph Harris, then head of the National Youth Ministries department, prayed for a way to give Assemblies of God students the opportunity to help missionaries in their work.
Seasonal Activities– We have various activities though out the year including but not limited to Christmas parties, park days, Water days, Thanksgiving meals, and so much more.
Fundraisers– Every year we plan fundraisers to help support Speed the Light as well as camp and Youth Convention.
